Space weather forecasters, scientists, researchers, and others from around the world will gather at the Space Weather Enterprise Forum next week in Washington, D.C. to discuss ways to advance space weather research and forecast capabilities.

Panel discussions will cover a range of topics, including preparing for space weather, critical infrastructure protection, improvements in space weather science and services, and responding to events. Policy experts will also discuss the National Space Weather Strategy, which was developed to provide an improved understanding of space weather events and their potential effects on critical infrastructure and technologies.

The Space Weather Enterprise Forum brings together the space weather community to share information and ideas among policymakers, senior government leaders, researchers, service provider agencies, private-sector service providers, space weather information users, media, and legislators and staff from Capitol Hill to raise awareness of space weather and its effects on society.
