Scientists from the U.S. and Canada have prepared a response to a Swedish proposal to consider the American lobster (Homerus Americanus) an invasive species in European Union waters.

Experts from NOAA will discuss the U.S.’s response in a scientific context and next steps for working with federal and international stakeholders to address Sweden’s proposal. A copy of the response letter is available upon request.
