About the Summit

This annual event is a gathering of N-Wave stakeholders from across NOAA Line Office and Department of Commerce (DOC) Bureaus, other federal agencies, along with partners from the science, research and education network community. The primary goals for this event are to:

  • Share about Bureau, Line Office, federal agency and program initiatives that may present new challenges and opportunities in leveraging shared network resources.
  • Discuss current and future data and network-related needs to aid in network-capacity planning.
  • Explore new network technologies, federal government initiatives and N-Wave’s latest capabilities and services.

The event is organized and hosted by N-Wave.

Who Should Attend

The N-Wave Stakeholders and Science Engagement Summit is for representatives from NOAA Line Offices, DOC Bureaus and other federal agencies, including affiliates working directly on, or in support of, N-Wave projects. In addition, partner representatives from the nonprofit science, research and education networking community working directly on, or in support of, N-Wave projects are also invited to attend. 

This event is restricted to representatives of the agencies and organizations listed above to encourage the sharing of non-public information necessary for collaboration and planning.
