Description
Injecting metal tag into a menhaden. The tag will be recovered later, if thefish is recaptured and reduced to meal and oil. This is part of an effort tomaintain the yield of menhaden and many other species. Understanding ofvariations in abundance of fishery resources and of the effects of manmade andnatural phenomena is not complete.
