This 3-dimensional view of the equatorial Atlantic seafloor was producedfollowing the German METEOR Expedition of 1925-1927. Unfortunately it wasdestroyed during the Second World War but the image survives. The Mid-AtlanticRidge snakes down the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between Brazil on the leftand Africa on the right.
