Description
Zostera marina, eelgrass, about to be transplanted. These plants wereharvested from Damerion Marsh by the mouth of the Great Wicomico River.Submerged aquatic vegetation is a critical habitat that stabilizes sediments,oxygenates water and provides habitat.
