200th Celebration Greetings from the Eureka NOAA National Weather ServiceForecast Office. When the Coast Guard towed this malfunctioning wave rider buoy into Humboldt Bay, NWS Hydrologist Carol Ciliberti came up with this innovative transportation mode to move the 300 pound buoy to a more convenient locationfor shipment to a repair facility.
