Description
Many fish cannot be harvested with present-day gear because the species arescattered over wide areas. Experiments with pelagic fish show that it may bepossible to attract large numbers of fish at night to a series of buoys or rafts with pulsating lights. Then the pulsations would move the fish to a suctionhose attached to a factory processing vessel.
