Carribean Seas
The Caribbean Sea – home of hurricanes, explosive volcanoes, and the occasional earthquake – but also the home of beautiful coral reefs. Up until about 50 years ago coral reefs were geographic features to avoid with razor-sharp appendages ready to rip the bottom out of unwary ships and boats that sailed into harm’s way. But then, the miracle of snorkeling and scuba-diving brought these gems of the sea into the collective consciousness of the world.
