Description
A relatively barren area covered with pebbles and cobbles. A few boulders areapparent. An anthomastus coral and hexactellinid sponge are on the right and a red shrimp is seen in the upper left of the image. The mistyappearing area was caused by the robotic sampling arm which scooped up someof the pebble and cobble substrate. (Image credit: NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration and Research, 2015 Hohonu Moana)
