Figure 35. Hamberg bottle for sampling intermediate waters devised by DoctorAlex Hamberg at the Institute of Meteorology of the Hogskola at Stockholm in1898. It was taken on the ANTARCTIC by the Swedish scientist Alfred G. Nathorst and used about Spitzbergen and to the north of Norway. Left: descending.Right: ascending.
