Figure 33. Meteorological register used with hydrogen weather balloons flownfrom the PRINCESSE ALICE II on April 5, 1905 from a station north of Corsica.The balloons and register attained a height of 8000 meters before the balloonsburst and the instruments were parachuted to the sea for recovery and reading.Readings from two temperature sensors and a pressure sensor were recorded.
