Description
Hoosac Mountain, the site of a pendulum gravity station. Charles S. Peirceconducted operations here in 1873. This is a unique representation of an area bythe Coast Survey showing the topography for a two-mile radius around the gravity station. W. E. McClintock was the topographer.
