Description
An employee of NOAA's Center for Operational Oceanographic Products (CO-OPS)installs an air gap sensor on the Don Holt Bridge. This sensor is critical fordetermining under bridge clearance as larger ships push the limits of bridgeheights. This sensor is an intrinsic part of the Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System (PORTS). (Image credit: NOAA News, June 27, 2013)
