Monique is from Washington, DC, with family roots in Georgia. She began her federal career in 2001 at NOAA in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, and then moved to the Department of Commerce to support the Chief Administrative Officer and front office staff. From 2016 to 2019, Monica provided support for political appointees at the Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits and Security Administration. Most recently, she provided administrative support at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Gaithersburg, MD. Monique likes to read and enjoys family time with her children, her, grandchildren, and her mother.
