NOAA’s National Weather Service to host news conference on impending winter storm

National Weather Service director Louis Uccellini, Ph.D., will host a news conference tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. ET to announce the latest winter storm forecast and preparations taking place for the impending winter storm for the Eastern U.S.

Reporters must register in advance to attend the press conference in person. Please send RSVP with name, affiliation, and citizenship of the crew to nws.pa@noaa.gov by 10 a.m. ET on Jan. 21. Members of news crews may use government credentials (i.e., Capitol Hill) for entry into the building. All others will require full security screening, so please arrive at noon to get screened and set up. Arrivals after 12:30 p.m. are not guaranteed entry.
