The aftermath of Katrina. A surplus boat lift is loaded on a truck at Valdez,Alaska for transportation to Plaquemines Parish. This piece of equipment wascritical to the recovery of the Plaquemines Parish fishing industry. Thedonation of this piece of equipment and transportation via truck to Louisianawas arranged by NOAA Sea Grant personnel.
