The BEST Scientists on Ice - The Bering Ecosystem Study (BEST) aims tounderstand the Bering Sea ecosystem and the potential consequences of sea iceloss that is accompanying global warming. Scientists from NOAA NMFS, NOAAOAR, University of Washington/JISAO, and Lamont Doherty Earth Observatoryaccompanied this April 2007 cruise of the USCG icebreaker Healy.
