Seaweeds are pressed on herbarium sheets for further study and repository inbotanical Herbaria. The species that Dr. Suzanne Fredericq is pressing wasfound at about 66 meters depth in the West Flower Garden Banks and representsa new record for the Gulf of Mexico.
