Ian Hampton aboard the South African R/V Africana in 1990. After the US AMLRfield season Roger Hewitt spent another two months at sea aboard the R/VAFRICANA and how they used acoustics to assess krill. The cruise went fromCape Town to Punta Arenas via the South Orkney and South Shetlandarchipelagos.
