Description

Figure 39. Spiral opening messenger - in the design of these messengers, thegroove which allows the device to be placed on the cable is in the form of an Sor Z. The messenger is locked on the cable by means of a rotating part at thetop of the messenger. A simpler non-locking version of this messenger wasproduced by HYTECH, a California firm.
