Sketch of ship discovered on Topographical Survey T-331 of Galveston Bay.This vessel was probably the Coast Survey Schooner NYMPH, under the command ofSub-Assistant J. Morris Wampler who used this vessel for transportation andliving quarters during his survey of Galveston Bay. Wampler is one of the fewCoast Surveyors who joined the Confederacy during the Civil War.
