Description

General Chart of the Coast from Gay Head to Cape Henlopen (from atriogonometrical survey). For an unfinished study of Ice Formation alongAtlantic Coast. Note also tightening of contours at continental shelf break.This was the first nautical chart to show the rapid change in slope from thecontinental shelf to the continental slope at the break.
