Description
Pacific Ring of Fire Expedition. A dense bed of hydrothermal musselscovers the slope of Northwest Eifuku volcano near a seafloor hot springcalled Champagne vent . Other vent animals living amongthe mussels include shrimp, limpets, and Galatheid crabs.
