Digital terrain model of typical Cretaceous age mid-Pacific guyot

Description

Digital terrain model of typical Cretaceous age mid-Pacific guyot. These guyots began their existence as above water volcanic islands that were wave eroded toatoll form and then slowly sank as seafloor spreading rafted them intoprogressively deeper and colder waters. They are often capped byCretaceous age fossil reef structures.
