Soviet BMRT ALEKSEI MAKHALIN, a standard MAYAKOVSKIY 278-footstern trawler. This type of ship is gthe backbone of the Soviet fishing fleet.This stern trawler has a crew of 100 men adn can remain at sea for nearly threemonths without replenishing. Ship observed at 56 35 North, 152 25 West.
