Golden Silk Spider. Large spider is female with two smaller males on the web. Females can attain lengths of 30-40 mm, while males are only 4-6 mm. Thesespiders feed primarily on flying insects which they capture in their webs whichcan attain greater than 1-meter diameter.Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve.
