Description

Looking north towards Mount Ballyhoo on the right and the Tom Madsen DutchHarbor Airport which is at the base of the mountain. The runway used toterminate at the end of the cliff on the left bottom of Mount Ballyhoo butblasting removed that obstruction and made the airport available for NE-SWlandings or SW-NE landings. A COE survey mark is in the foreground.
