Description

Map of the Atlantic Ocean published after the outward bound segment of theCHALLENGER Expedition. This map shows little improvement over earlierversions. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is shown bending to the west south of theAzores and there is no expression of the ridge in the South Atlantic Ocean.
