In August the Castle Rock fire surrounding the mountain resort town of Ketchumburned over 48,000 acres. After the fire was contained the threat of flash flood and debris flows took center stage. Sherrie Hebert, Pocatello WFO Servicehydrologist joined a Burn Area Emergency Response Team to assess flash flood and debris flow potential. Helicopter pilot John Rourke briefing Sherrie Hebert.
