Description

The first of the Monthly Weather Review Picture of the Month series, aspublished in January 1963. This first picture shows a series of actinoformclouds extending along the parallel 7 degrees South Latitude and between 87 and97 West Longitude. This cloud type was not even suspected prior to TIROSphotography.
