Description

Chesapeake Bay Diamond Shoal Project. This project was for the purpose ofmapping oyster habitat for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Thiscontinued a function of the Coast Survey that began in the 1870's with mappingthe oyster beds of Maryland, Virginia and many of the eastern seaboard and GulfCoast states.
