This mobile weather unit was the first development in complete service onwheels by the Weather Service. Considered bulky and detachable trailer is ashortcoming. Fifth Army Headquarters used such a unit on the Italian Front.Volume 2, No. 2, of the Army Air Forces Headquarters Weather Bulletin, p. 10.
