NOAA, USFWS improve collaboration with states on endangered species

NOAA Fisheries and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced steps today to ensure state partners continue their vital role in the recovery and listing of species under the Endangered Species Act. By making these changes, the collaboration among all partners will be more effective and flexible, benefitting the threatened and endangered species protected by the act.
