- B.S. Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from University of California Santa Cruz, supported by the Undergraduate Scholarship Program.
EPP/MSI provided me the opportunities to engage with a variety of NOAA offices and programs, including being introduced to the NOAA Commissioned Corps and meeting several active NOAA Corps officers. Upon learning more about the NOAA Corps and the diverse career pathways available, I knew this was the job for me and it has now been six years of incredibly exciting and unique work that I have been able to patriciate in including operating NOAA ships as well as conducting marine mammal fieldwork operations via NOAA small boats.
