Agency seeking input for implementation of Strategic Plan
NOAA is conducting a series of Listening Sessions across the United States to receive public input regarding the implementation of the Department of Commerce's 2018-2022 Strategic Plan. As part of the Department of Commerce, NOAA has a role in expanding the Blue Economy, including fishing, shipping, energy, recreation, and tourism.
RDML Timothy Gallaudet, Ph.D., Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and Acting Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, will discuss opportunities to reduce the nation's seafood trade deficit and promote marine commerce, fisheries and tourism.
