SECTION 1. PURPOSE.
Revocation notice for NOAA Administrative Order 216-8, Information Collections and Requirements Needing Office of Mangement and Budget Clearance.
This Revocation Notice revokes NOAA Administrative Order 216-8, Information Collections and Requirements Needing Office of Management and Budget Clearance, issued 04/30191, effective 04/17/91. It has been determined that information in the NOAA Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) Web pages provides both the high level information currently in this NOAA Administrative Order (NAO), as well as clear links to more detailed information if needed. From our experience in working with NOAA staff on PRA-related matters, these Web pages are a much more accessible and usable source of information than the NAO.
Specifically, the functions of the various sections of this NAO are being met through information on the following Web pages:
Sections 1 and 2 describe the purpose and scope of the NAO. These sections are no longer useful as the NAO is not being retained.
SECTION 2. SCOPE.
The NAO series covers substantive program matters and administrative management policy, responsibilities, and requirements for such administrative subjects as budget, travel, personnel, procurement, etc.
