1. THIS TRANSMITS:
Revocation Notice of NOAA Administrative Order (NAO) 202-735A “Commercial fishing by NOAA employees”, dated May 20, 1988.
2. PURPOSE:
This Revocation revokes the policy established by NAO 202-735A “Commercial Fishing by NOAA Employees”. This NAO is no longer applicable because the policies in this NAO are now covered by other employee ethics policies (see U.S. Department of Commerce Summary of Ethics Rules p. 4-7). In addition, the regulations that underlie this NAO, 15 C.F.R. Part 0, have been rescinded and replaced with Government-wide ethics rules at 5 C.F.R. Part 2635.
NAO 202-735A is revoked under the authority of NOAA Organizational Handbook Transmittal 61: Delegation of Authority, Assistant Administrator for Fisheries.
