THIS TRANSMITS:

Revocation Notice of NOAA Administrative Order (NAO) 203-34, Certification of Obligations, effective June 11, 2010.

PURPOSE.

This notice revokes NAO 203-34 Certification of Obligations. The Department of Commerce (DOC) updates the policy for Undelivered Obligations, which includes policy for the certification of obligations. DOC has taken ownership of the Certification of Obligations process due to an Office of Inspector General finding and updates the policy annually. Therefore, this NAO is no longer valid. The NOAA Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Finance Office currently follows the policies and procedures prescribed by DOC.

There is no known NOAA Delegation of Authority applicable to NAO 203-34.
