NOAA hydrographic panel to meet in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Public can provide comment, attend meeting, register for webcast

NOAA’s Hydrographic Services Review Panel, which advises the NOAA administrator on products and services related to navigation, water levels and currents, and positioning, will hold a public meeting September 11-13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The panel will receive updates on regional activities and resource needs, and will consider this information in making recommendations.

The public is invited to attend the meeting in-person, or via online webinar, and can provide comments during the meeting, or in writing prior to the meeting. To submit comments in advance, email hydroservices.panel@noaa.gov. Please use the subject line: HSRP Portsmouth meeting comment.

WHAT:
NOAA’s Hydrographic Services Review Panel meeting topics include:

  • navigation services, issues, and solutions

  • research, development, and technology priorities

  • unmanned systems for navigation

  • emerging Arctic priorities

  • data integration and challenges

  • value, gaps, and recommended improvements to NOAA’s navigation products and services
