Fisheries experts to detail the nation's progress in rebuilding our fish stocks
On Friday, NOAA Fisheries will hold a webcast briefing for the media to announce findings from the 2018 Status of U.S. Fisheries report—an annual update that provides important information on many of the nation’s 479 federally-managed fish stocks or stock complexes.
The report provides Congress, fishery managers, and the public with an account of how well fishery management measures are working, and details which stocks are experiencing overfishing, are overfished, or are rebuilt to sustainable levels.
A special webcast will be held using AdobeConnect offsite link, which is a free virtual meeting service that can be accessed via desktop, laptop or mobile device.
