Eric Locklear

Eric Locklear is a NOAA senior advisor, with a focus on implementing NOAA’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law programs.

Locklear is a 35 year career civil servant, serving in different capacities but always in the administrative field. Prior to his current assignment as a senior advisor, he was the Deputy Chief Financial Officer of the Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research, at NOAA. A long-time Washingtonian, he received his bachelor of science from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
