2020 Hurricane Awareness Webinars

SECART, again in 2020, conducted its annual Hurricane Awareness Webinar Series. The series is created for emergency management professionals and broadcast meteorologists, but is educational and entertaining for a wide audience. The first webinar was held 29 April and the sixth and final webinar of this series was held on 3 June. The series covered lessons from the 2018-9 seasons, Hurricane Dorian impacts, marine safety, and more.

 

Lessons Learned from The 2018-19 Hurricane Seasons

The Use of Reconnaissance Aircraft Data in Weather Forecast Models
