NOAA at the Gulf of Mexico Conference 2022

NOAA and the Gulf of Mexico Regional Collaboration Team were well represented at the Gulf of Mexico Conference on April 25-28, 2022 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The first-ever Gulf of Mexico Conference hosted over 800 participants to network, collaborate, and discuss coastal management and research in the region. The NOAA Gulf Team presented a poster about its work promoting collaboration in the region. The RESTORE Science Program led a cross-Line Office group to develop and staff a One-NOAA booth situated prominently in the conference’s main promenade - attendees really appreciated its unified approach. Many NOAA employees were key to developing, moderating, or presenting during different sessions. The conference was a great way to re-engage in person with colleagues and partners!
