The NOAA Live! 4 Kids webinar series is back

We are thrilled to announce that NOAA Live! 4 Kids offsite link webinars will continue this 2021-2022 school year! Join NOAA Office of Education and NOAA National Sea Grant College Program to get a sneak peek at what NOAA scientists do across the country. Designed for second through eighth grade students (but fun for anyone!), this webinar series helps connect scientists with students who can ask questions in real-time.

Have you ever wanted to find out what it's like to be inside a hurricane? Register now offsite link for our webinar on October 6 at 4 p.m. Eastern: Hurricane Observations: On the ground and in the eye with Sean Waugh offsite link. Join us as we talk with a severe storm scientist from the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory. Learn about the instruments scientists use to safely observe hurricanes and so much more!

This school year, NOAA Live! 4 Kids will typically host two webinars per month, one with a brand new speaker and one with a speaker from the past who will revisit their topic through a new lens. All webinars will include live American Sign Language interpretation. NOAA Live! Alaska will be doing a series of shorter regional webinars focused on specific regions of Alaska generally on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. Alaska time/5 p.m. Eastern.
