Overview
The 2022 Science On a Sphere ® (SOS) Users Collaborative Network Workshop was all virtual from August 30 to September 1, 2022. Due to the current high COVID community level in Salt Lake City (where we had intended to host the workshop) we opted to change the workshop to all virtual. We were disappointed to not be able to get together in person, but hopefully we will be able to soon!
The workshop was based on presentations submitted from participants and facilitated the continuation of the work done by the Network to optimize the utilization of spherical display systems for providing science educational messages. The theme for this workshop was:
"Projecting Leadership in Science Engagement"
The 2022 theme encourages us to reflect on how we lead our teams in service to our communities, with a focus on how we can (and have) adapt the way we engage our audiences and the tools we use to convey information to those audiences. Participation in this workshop was limited to members of the NOAA Science On a Sphere Users Collaborative Network and invited groups who are working with the Network. An invitation to participate in the workshop was sent to all members.
