About the Summit

Save the date and join us in May for the annual N-Wave Stakeholders and Science Engagement Summit. This in-person (with limited live streaming) three-day event is a gathering of N-Wave stakeholders from across NOAA Line Offices, DOC Bureaus, other federal agencies, along with partners from the science, research and education networking community. The summit is scheduled for May 14-16, 2024, and will be held at the National Weather Service Training Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The event is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CDT each day.

meeting agenda is now available and highlights a top-notch lineup of presentations and panel discussions. Program topics will include agency updates, technology modernization, cloud connectivity, infrastructure upgrades, scientific community partner projects, network initiatives and more.

This event is being organized and hosted by NOAA’s N-Wave.

Who Should Attend

The N-Wave Stakeholders and Science Engagement Summit is for representatives from NOAA Line Offices, DOC Bureaus and other federal agencies, including affiliates working directly on, or in support of, N-Wave projects. In addition, partner representatives from the nonprofit science, research and education networking community working directly on, or in support of, N-Wave projects are also invited to attend. 
This event is restricted to representatives of the agencies and organizations listed above to encourage the sharing of non-public information necessary for collaboration and planning.

Attendee Registration

Registration is now open! There is no registration fee to attend this event, but registration is required. The registration deadline is Friday, May 10, 2024.
